Hostel reopening! 1

The schickSAAL*-Hostel reopens for touristic stays!

Our hostel is now open for all kinds of travelers again. But to minimize the risks of infection with the Covid-19 virus, there are some rules we all have to follow.

We will try to explain everything here, but please make sure to inform yourself about the applicable restrictions before your journey and check if you are allowed to travel.

To stay at our hostel you will need to provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 test that is not older than 48 hours (Antigen or PCR) . Please make sure to get tested before departure. Children at the age of 6 or older also need a negative Covid-19 test.

If you are vaccinated, you do not need a test, but can show us a proof of vaccination. Your vaccination needs to be at least 14 days old.

The third option for your check-in is to provide evidence of recovery. Your recovery must have happened at least 28 days but no more than 6 months ago.

All guest that are checked in with a negative test-result have to get tested again every 72 hours. We will provide a list with testing facilities, but you are responsible to get tested in time yourself.

If you have had direct contact with a person infected with Covid-19 or have respiratory symptoms, we won’t be able to check you in.

Due to the current situation, we have revised our dorm room concept. At the moment we have 5 private rooms and only 5 dorm room. In the private rooms you can stay with up to five people from no more that two households, not taking into account people how are fully vaccinated or recovered or are under the age of 14. Our private rooms don’t have a private bathroom.

If you want to stay in a dorm room, you must be aware that there might be other people sleeping in that room as well. We will only book tested people from no more that two households into one dorm room, and if applicable vaccinated or recovered persons. We will not occupy more than 50% of the beds to make sure its possible to keep distance at all times, except for bigger groups that are traveling together. In that case please call us for your reservation.

In case you can´t book online, please call us because there might be beds left.

We know that all of this sounds complicated and we try our best to make it as understandable and as pleasant for you as possible. If you have any question feel free to call or send us an email.

You can reach us everyday between 09:00 and 12:00 am.

We can’t wait to welcome you at our hostel!
